Dr. Alan Nevins is a board certified Endodontist, specializing in root canal treatment procedures as well as diagnosis of the causes of oral and facial pain. Treatment is done giving undivided personalized attention to ensure the most comfortable dental experience possible.

Endodontic treatment is done when the pulp, the soft inner tissue of the root, becomes inflamed or infected. By removing this diseased tissue along with shaping and filling the canals, the abscessed tooth will usually heal. The natural tooth can often be maintained with this treatment.

Dr. Nevins is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He has lectured and authored publications internationally in the specialty of Endodontics for the past 25 years.
